Note:

L Calls are disconnected when the handset moves from one radio cell to another.

Registering a handset to a base unit

The supplied handset and base unit are pre-registered. If for some reason the handset is not registered to the base unit (for example, _is displayed even when the handset is near the base unit), re- register the handset.

L This number is used by the handset as a reference only.

Proceed with the operation for your model.

KX-TG7511

Press and hold {x} for about 5 seconds. (No registration tone)

KX-TG7521

Press and hold {x} for about 5 seconds, until the registration tone sounds.

L If all registered handsets start ringing, press the same button to stop. Then repeat this step.

L The next step must be completed within 90 seconds.

4Handset:

Wait until Base PINis displayed. iEnter the base unit PIN (default: 0000). iM

L If you forget your PIN, contact an authorised service centre.

L When the handset has been registered successfully, w is displayed.

Selecting a base unit

When Autois selected, the handset automatically uses any available base unit it is registered to. When a specific base unit is selected, the handset makes and receives calls using that base unit only. If the handset is out of range of that base unit, no calls can be made.

Deregistering a handset

A handset can cancel its own registration that is stored to the base unit. This allows the handset to end its wireless connection with the system.
