Battery Replacement and Handling

With average use, your phone’s battery should last approximately one year. To order replacement batteries, please contact Uniden’s Parts Department. The contact information is listed on the back cover page.

Cleaning the Battery Contacts

To maintain a good charge, clean the charging contacts on the handset once a month. Dampen a cloth with plain water. Gently rub the damp cloth over the charging contacts until all visible dirt is removed. Dry the contacts thoroughly before returning the handset to the charging cradle.

Caution: Do not use paint thinner, alcohol, or other chemical products.

Doing so may discolor the surface of the telephone and damage the finish.

Warning

To avoid the risk of personal injury or property damage from fire or electrical shock, use only Uniden AAD-041S(M) or AAD-041S (9V 350mA) and AAD-600S(M) or AAD-600S AC adaptors and Uniden BT-446 or BT-750 battery pack with your phone.

Caution:

Use only the specified Uniden battery pack BT-446 or BT-750.

Do not remove the batteries from the handset to charge them.

Never throw the battery into a fire, disassemble, or heat them.

Do not remove or damage the battery casing.

A replacement Uniden adaptor or battery may be purchased by calling Uniden’s Parts department. See back cover page for contact information.
