Making a call with the handset

Dialing from standby

1 Pick up the handset and dial the phone number (up to 32 digits).

Example: Enter 8178583300

2 Press .“Talk” flashes on the display.

Then the volume setting is displayed.

Example:

Setting “High”

3 The number is dialed. After about 5 seconds, the call-time display appears.

4 To hang up, press or place the handset on the base. The call-time displays for about 5 seconds.

Notes

If you enter a wrong number in the step 1, press to delete a number.

If there is no key entry for more than 20 seconds, the dialing operation is canceled and the telephone returns to the standby mode.

Handset in Use“ appears on the base’s display while the handset is in use.
