Installing the Telephone on a Desk or Tabletop

Place the Base Unit on a desk or tabletop, and plug one end of the Telephone Line Cord (supplied) into the "TELLINE"jack on the Base. Plug the other end of the cord into the telephone socket.

The unique design of your XC 310 allows you to place the Handset on the Base Unit either facedown or in an upright position. The battery pack in the Handset automatically recharges in either position.

Mounting the Telephone on a Wall

Setting the Handset Retainer for use as a wall phone.

1.Remove the Handset Retainer on the Base Unit by sliding it upward.

2.Flip the Retainer over so the tab is facing up.

3.Slide the Retainer back into the Base Unit.
