To obtain good reception
AM Try various directions to obtain optimum reception.
When listening to the radio on a train or inside a building, reception may be poor. Try and listen beside a window.
To turn off the radio
Press .
Press to tune to a station.
•To tune in AM or FM stations automatically (auto tuning)
Press and hold one of these buttons until the frequency starts to change continuously, and then release it.
(The frequency will automatically stop changing as soon as the first station is tuned in.)

•Weather Radio broadcasts warnings, watches, forecasts and other information 24 hours a day on 7 VHF band frequencies (162.40 MHz to 162.55 MHz) in the U.S. and Canada, with each frequency serving specific areas.
Choose the channel for your area.

Storing stations in the memory
Store the frequencies of up to 30 stations: 10 FM, 10 AM and 10 Weather

1 Perform steps and (left).
2 Press to select the memory number.

Note
•We recommend adjusting the time regularly to maintain accuracy. (Monthly accuracy ±60 seconds)
•When you play a CD or the radio, the display changes but the time is displayed again after about 10 seconds.
