Press [ADVANCED SURROUND] to select “A.SURROUND 1”, “A.SURROUND 2”, “A.SURROUND 3” or “OFF”.

REPEAT

Repeat play

 

(Only when the elapsed play time can be displayed.

[JPEG]: you can use this feature even if there is no elapsed time display.)

Press [REPEAT] to select an item to be repeated. e.g. [DVD-V]

To cancel, press [REPEAT] to select “OFF”.

When using discs recorded with surround sound, sound seems to come from speakers on either side of you.

Optimum seating position is 3 to 4 times the distance between the front left and right speakers or the width of the television if using the television’s speakers.

Do not use in combination with surround effects on other equipment.

Press [1] (PLAY) to return to the normal play.

After you change the speed

ADVANCED SURROUND (right) does not work.

Digital audio output switches to PCM 2ch.

This may not work depending on the disc’s recording.

DIALOGUE ENHANCER

Making the dialogue easier to hear

(DIALOGUE ENHANCER)

[DVD-V] (Dolby Digital, DTS, 3-channel or over, with the dialogue recorded in the center channel)

[DivX] (Dolby Digital, 3-channel or over, with the dialogue recorded in the center channel)

Convenient when you want to skip commercials, etc.

To make the dialogue in movies easier to hear

Press [DIALOGUE ENHANCER] to select “ON”.

ON

To cancel, press [DIALOGUE ENHANCER] again to select

 

“OFF”.
