Auxiliary input

Your radio has an auxiliary (line-level) audio input which you can use to allow your radio to be used as an external amplifi er for MP3 players, compact disc players and similar devices.

Simply connect the external audio source to the radio's line input socket (on the back of the radio) using a 3.5mm stereo plug. When the plug is inserted the radio display will automatically be blanked. Use the volume and bass and treble controls on your radio to adjust the sound level as needed. Note that you may also need to set the output level on your external device to a higher level than used for normal listening.

Remove the lead from the Line input in order to permit normal operation of your radio.
