Listening to your radio

1.For FM reception fully extend and position the telescopic aerial for best reception. For MW reception there is a built in ferrite aerial, rotate the radio to the position giving best reception.

2.Switch the Dynamo/Battery switch to either the Dynamo (if charged) or battery position.

3.Switch on the radio by rotating the Power/Volume control clockwise, a click will be heard. Adjust the Volume control until a hissing sound is heard.

4.Select the required waveband using the FM/MW band switch.

5.Rotate the Tuning knob to select the desired station. On MW the Tuning scale is marked in kilohertz (kHz). On FM the Tuning scale is marked in Megahertz (MHz).

6.The Tuning indicator will light.

7.Adjust the Volume control to the required sound level.

8.To switch off your radio rotate the Power/Volume control fully anti-clockwise until a click is heard.
