Error Messages

ERROR MESSAGES	MEANING	REMEDY

BATT EMPTY	z The battery is run down.	z Charge the rechargeable battery or replace the al-
		kaline battery (or use the AC adaptor for power).

BLANK MD	z Nothing is recorded.	z Replace the disc with a recorded disc.

Can't COPY	z You tried to record from a copy prohibited	z Record using the analog cable.

Can't EDIT	z A track cannot be edited.	z Change the stop position of the track and then edit it.

Can't READ (*)	z The disc data cannot be read because the	z Reload the disc.
