OPERATION

SETTING THE TIME

1.Press MODE. The time and appear.

2.Hold down MEMORY/TIME then repeatedly press (or hold down) 9 HOUR until the display shows the cor- rect hour setting.

Note: PM appears when you set a PM hour. AM appears for an AM hour.

3.Hold down MEMORY/TIME then

repeatedly press (or hold down) MIN 8 until the display shows the correct minute setting.

CHANGING THE DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS

To change the brightness of the display, set DIM HI/LO to HI or LO.

TURNING THE ALARM ON/OFF

To have the buzzer sound or the radio turn on at the set alarm time, set

OFF/ALARM AUTO-ALARM to ALARM for a

buzzer alarm or to AUTO to have the radio play as the alarm.

To set the alarm, press ALARM ON/OFF.

To cancel the alarm, press ALARM ON-

To turn on the radio at any time, set RADIO to RADIO ON. Move the switch to either ALARM or

AUTO to turn off the radio and set the alarm again.

SETTING THE ALARM TIME

1.Repeatedly press MODE until SET ON and the current alarm time appear.

Note: If you do not set the alarm time within 10 seconds, the clock radio dis- plays the previous function. To con- tinue, start over at Step 1.

2.Hold down MEMORY/TIME then repeatedly press (or hold down) 9 HOUR until the display shows the desired alarm hour setting.

3.Hold down MEMORY/TIME then repeatedly press or hold down MIN 8 until the display shows the desired alarm minute setting.

Notes:

To adjust the alarm volume, rotate

VOL.

During a power failure, the alarm sounds instead of the radio regardless of how you set RADIO ON-OFF/ALARM AUTO-ALARM.

USING SNOOZE

To temporarily silence the alarm or radio, for about 5 minutes, press SNOOZE. You can repeat this cycle as many times as you like. To turn off the alarm so it does not sound again, press ALARM ON/OFF.
