Rotate unit until best reception is obtained.

Slide the FUNCTION switch to AM or FM. Increase volume.

Retune the AM or FM broadcast station. Reorient FM antenna.

FM: Antenna is not properly adjusted.

SOLUTION Check AC cord connection.

Close CD Compartment door.

Reinsert disc correctly.
