1.TO SET THE ALARM TIME: (the clock must be set before the alarm can be set.) Briefly press the Alarm Button. The ALARM icon will flash on the display. Then press and hold the clock set button until a beep indicates that you’re in the set mode and the hour will flash (Fig. 11). Rotate the Tune knob (which also determines AM or PM) clockwise to increase hour, counter clockwise to decrease the hour. There is no “AM” designation for morning hours. Now press the Tune knob in to set the hour, and then adjust the minutes in the same manner (Fig. 12). The minutes will not affect the hour setting. Press the Tune knob again to save the settings (Fig. 13). Press the Alarm button briefly to see the current Alarm time. The “ALARM” icon will blink when displaying alarm time.

Note: Non-US models use a 24-hour clock format.

2.TO SET THE ALARM TO WAKE: Set the iYiYi sound system to the FM or AM station you wish to wake to that will be broadcasting during the time you wish to wake (or set to Aux to wake to a pleasant increasing beep) and adjust the volume level to your preferred level to awake. (The beep volume level is not adjustable.) Press and hold the Alarm button. A beep will sound confirming the Alarm is set to wake and the word “Alarm” will show on the display along with the time the alarm is set to. Turn the system Off before retiring. When the alarm activates the ALARM icon will flash.

Should you opt to wake to the beep, the beep will sound for 60 seconds, then pause for 60 seconds, then resume for another 60 seconds. This pattern will repeat for up to one hour or until the Alarm button is pressed. When waking to the radio or your iPod, if the unit is not turned off, the sound will play for one hour, after which the unit will automatically shut off. To wake to your iPod, follow the steps above but set the source to iPod and have an iPod resting in the dock.

3.TO RE-SET THE ALARM FOR THE NEXT DAY: After the alarm activates, press the Alarm button to re-set the alarm for the following day. “OFF” and “ALARM” will flash on the display, the system will shut off, and the current time will be displayed.
