Connect headphones to the PHONES jack.

Use the stereo LINE OUT jack to connect the CD-VT1MKII to external devices, such as speakers with a built-in amplifier, AUX in- put jacks of a stereo system, cas- sette tape recorders, or CD record- ers.

Adjusting the output level

You can adjust the output level of

LINE OUT and PHONES by using the

OUTPUT control.

NOTE

The levels from both the LINE OUT and PHONES jacks are controlled together by the OUTPUT control and cannot be adjust- ed independently.

When you have a recording device connect- ed to the LINE OUT jack, remember that the OUTPUT control affects the recording level.

NOTE

When you are using the CD-VT1MKII with speakers and microphone(s), be careful to avoid feedback (howlround).
