Charging the device

Plug the smaller end of the USB cable to the device and the other end to an USB port on the computer. Select the battery charge option on the device and leave it plugged in to the computer to charge.

The computer needs to be on (approximately 2 hours) until the battery on the device is charged.

File Transfer

The device by default will displayed as “Removable Disk” on Windows and “NO NAME” on Mac. To add files on the device, drag supported files over to the drive.

“NO NAME” is accessible on the Mac desktop.

“Removable Disk” is accessible in My Computer or Computer on Window system.

Music

Select “Music” from main menu by using the (► or ◄) keys located at the top of the player and press ►II to enter music mode. The screen will display the music menu with these options:

Now Playing: continue playing from previous session.

All music: list all songs under the Music directory in the internal memory of the Player.

Artist: after selecting one singer from the list of artists, all his/her songs will be listed; songs with unrecognized singers (no name associated with the song) are stored under the title Unknown Artists. Unknown album and Unknown genre has the same function.

Album: after selecting one album from the album list, songs in this album will be listed.

Genre: after selecting one genre, songs of this genre will be listed.

My Playlist: the List has 5 options, and users can classify the current songs according to their

preferences.

Dir list (Directory List): There are two forms of storing files - internal memory and external memory. Music files stored in the Player are listed in the internal memory, and those stored in the card are listed in the external memory. In case there is no plug-in card, Music files will be stored in internal memory.

Record List: list all voice recording files.
