The player does not turn on.

Ensure that the battery retains a charge. Try replac- ing the battery with a new one.

Try resetting your player (use a pin to press the Reset key on the rear of the player).

Ensure that the Hold switch is disengaged.

The buttons do not work.

Ensure that the Hold switch is disengaged.

I cannot transfer files to the player.

Ensure that your computer is running a supported operating system.
