SYS MODE

Language

Set the language that the menus appear in. The language options are: English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese (Trad), and Chinese (Simp).

Press or to select a Language option and press to confirm.

Press to return to the System Menu.

Contrast

Set the Contrast level of the display. A setting of 00 is lightest; a setting of 14 is darkest.

Press or to select a Contrast option and press to confirm.

Press to return to the System Menu.

Backlight

Set the Backlight option to change the duration of time (in seconds) that the back- light will remain on after a key press. A setting of “Off” will disable the backlight completely. A setting of “On” will keep that backlight on continuously.

Press or to select a Backlight option and press to confirm.

Press to return to the System Menu.

Power

Set the Power option to change the duration of time (in seconds) that the player will remain on when it is idle. A setting of “Off” will disable the this power-saving feature.

Press or to select a Power option and press to confirm.

Press to return to the System Menu.

Quality

Set the Recording Quality level for Voice and FM recordings. The options are Long Time, Normal Quality, and High Quality. Lower quality recordings will take up less memory than higher quality recordings.

Press or to select a Quality option and press to confirm.

Press to return to the System Menu.
