1.Turn the KC-120ST on. Use the SOURCE button (10) to select AM or FM.

2.Repeatedly press the PRESET button (23) to step through the stored stations until the desired station is received.

Alarm setting The KC-120ST features two independent alarms. These can be used for weekday and weekend, or husband and wife use.

1.Press and hold Alarm1 or Alarm2 (14 or 18) until the alarm time display begins to flash.

2.While the display is flashing, use the “WAKE TO” button (16) to select Radio, Buzz, or iPod. If you select iPod, be sure the iPod is mounted in the dock (6).

3.While the display is flashing, use the TUNING UP/DOWN/SKIP button (7) to set the wake up hour. Cycle through the first 12 hours to set a “PM” wake up time.

4.Press Alarm1 or Alarm2 (14 or 18) again to set the minutes.

5.While the display is flashing, use the TUNING UP/DOWN/SKIP button (7) to set the minutes.

6.If you choose RADIO or iPod as your WAKE TO sound, you can adjust the WAKE TO volume by pressing the “VOLUME” (2) and then setting the volume to the desired level

7.Repeat the above steps to set the other alarm.

Activating the alarm

1.Press ALARM1 or ALARM2 briefly to turn on the respective alarm. The corresponding alarm window will illuminate in the display. Confirm that the wake up time shown is correct. If you do not want the backlight to be on, press ALARM1 or ALARM2 a second time to extinguish the backlight.

2.Press the ON/STANDBY button (11) or the SLEEP button (16) so that the unit will be in standby mode when the wake up time arrives. The alarm WILL NOT FUNCTION if the unit is playing at wake up time.

3.If radio was selected for the wake-up sound, tune to the station that you wish to wake to before completing step 2.

4.Likewise, if iPod was selected as the wake up sound, be sure that your iPod is inserted in the dock before completing step 2.
