Instructions for connecting the spacer to the ExpressCard

Before beginning make sure the spacer and PC card are aligned as below.

1. When attaching the spacer, ensure the spacer is at a 45 degree angle to the PC card. Please make sure the hook on the spacer is sitting in the slot on the PC Card. Refer Fig 1.

2. Push down on the spacer as shown while applying firm pressure to both the PC card and spacer.

Finally, make sure the two clips on the spacer are firmly and squarely pushed into the slots on the PC card.

When removing the spacer, pull in an upwards motion to detach.
