Paging an ID Number at a Location in the Call List

1.You can also Call Alert page an ID number at a particular location in the preprogrammed call list (for example, the fifth location in the list would be position “5”). To do this, press the page button (normally side button 2).

Notes:

If you radio has been so programmed by the RSS, press the right arrow key ( ) until “PAGE” appears on the display, then press the key below “PAGE.”

The same list is shared by both Call Alert and Private Conversation features.

2.The display shows the last ID number transmitted or received. You can now select an ID number from the list.

3.To enter the list, press either the right ( ) arrow key or the left ( ) arrow key. The right arrow key will take you forwards to the first or next member of the list; the left arrow key will take you backwards to the last or previous member of the list.

Note: The last member of the list will be the “last ID transmitted or received.” This member can also be found at location “00” in the list.

4.Enter the first digit of the location number.

a.If there are fewer than 10 members in the list, the radio goes immediately to that position in the list, and the display alternates between showing that list member’s name and ID number. Go directly to step 7.

b.If there are 10 or more members in the list, the display changes to show “ID LOC#X_” (where X is the first digit). The cursor will flash to show the location of the second digit. Continue with step 5.
