Activating PTY

To use the PTY function,

press the TUNER button < in ra- dio mode.

The radio functions menu appears in the display.

Press the softkey 4 assigned to the “PTY” display item.

If PTY is activated, the display shows the current programme type. PTY ap- pears in the display. The programme types are displayed alongside the softkeys 4.

Cancelling PTY

To cancel the PTY function,

Whilst the programme types are

being displayed, press the softkey 4 assigned to the “OFF” display item.

Selecting a programme type and starting seek tuning

The PTY menu is made up of several pages on which the known programme types are displayed. To browse through the PTY menu’s pages,

keep pressing the NEXT button 3 until the required programme type appears alongside one of the softkeys.

Press the softkey 4 assigned to the required programme type.

Move the joystick 7 up/right or down/left to start seek tuning.

The next receivable station correspond- ing to your selected programme type will then be tuned into.

RADIO MODE

If no station is found that corresponds

to the selected programme type, you will
