Call Waiting

Call Waiting functions similarly to the caller ID function on your telephone. It will capture the caller’s MMSI identification number and any other data included in a DSC message.

NOTE

Standby Mode Signal

If you will be away from your radio or otherwise unable to answer calls, you can put the radio into DSC Standby mode. When in DSC Standby mode,

The call waiting memory can hold up to 20 messages. Once the memory becomes full, each new call will erase the oldest call information on a first-in first-out basis.

your radio will log all calls received into its call waiting memory and respond automatically to individual calls with an UNATTENDED message. You will then be able to retrieve those calls from the call waiting memory.

NOTE

The call waiting memory can retain up to twenty (20) calls. See the following section for information on call waiting.
