Setting the Dialling Mode

Set your dialling mode to either Tone or Pulse depending on which dialling system is used. To test if the dialling mode works, dial a digit. If dialling tone is still heard, you have to change to the other dialling mode.

Note: A telephone number may not consist of more than 32 digits including

pauses, and the buttons and , otherwise, it cannot be stored under one memory location.

Some telephones might need to wait for a second dialling tone in order to dial the stored memory; in this case, insert a pause wherever necessary

by pressing , if the pause is not long enough, extend the pause duration by pressing two to three times.
