RADIO OPERATION

Slide the Function switch to select AM or FM; the POWER indicator will light.

Tune a desired station by turning the TUNING control.

If an FM station is selected, and is broadcasting an FM stereo station, the FM STEREO indicator will light.

Adjust the VOLUME control and X-BASS button as desired. Press the X-BASS button to the in position to enhance the bass sound.

To turn the radio off, slide the Function switch to the OFF position; the POWER indicator will go off.

ANTENNAS

AM – This unit has a built-in ferrite rod antenna, which provides adequate reception in most areas. If reception is weak, turn the unit to improve reception.

FM – The FM Antenna is for FM reception only. If reception is weak, adjust the length and the angle of the antenna.

Open the CD compartment by pressing the CD Door OPEN/CLOSE area. Place a disc on the spindle, label side up, and close the CD compartment door.

Slide the Function switch to the CD position; the POWER indicator will light.

The total number of tracks will be displayed and the CD player will stop.
