Pause CD MP3

1Press PAUSE/STEP during playback.

2To return to playback, press PAUSE/STEP again.

Moving to Another Track CD MP3

Press SKIP . or > briefly during

playback to go to the next track or to return to the beginning of the current track.

Press SKIP . twice briefly to step back to the pre- vious track.

On an Audio CD, to go directly to any track, enter the track number using the numbered buttons (0-9) dur- ing playback.

Repeat CD MP3

Press REPEAT to select a desired repeat mode.

Audio CD

-TRACK: Repeats the current track.

-ALL: Repeats all the tracks on a disc.

-OFF: Does not play repeatedly (no display).

MP3 Disc

-TRACK: Repeats the current track.

-FOLDER: Repeats all the tracks on a folder of a disc.

-OFF: Does not play repeatedly (no display).

Random CD MP3

Search CD

1Press BACKWARD (m) or FORWARD (M) during playback.

The recorder will now go into SEARCH mode.

2Press BACKWARD or FORWARD to select the required speed: mX2, mX4, mX8 (backward) or MX2, MX4, MX8 (forward).

Search speed and direction are indicated on the menu screen.

3To exit SEARCH mode, press PLAY (N).

Repeat A-B CD

To repeat a sequence in a title:

1Press A-B at your chosen start point.

Repeat icon and “A-” appears on the menu screen.

2Press A-B again at your chosen end point.

The Repeat icon and “A - B” appears on the left side of menu screen, and the repeat sequence begins.

3To exit the sequence and return to normal play, press A-B again.

The Repeat icon disappears from the menu screen.

PLAYBACK

1Press RANDOM during playback or when playback has stopped.

The VCR/DVD Recorder automatically begins Random Playback and RANDOM appears on the left side of menu screen.

2To return to normal playback, press RANDOM again, then RANDOM disappears from the menu screen.
