The battery level icon indicates how much battery life is left. The number of segments in the icon becomes less as the battery discharges. For some batteries or re-chargeable dry cells, the number of segments in the battery icon may increase or decrease irregularly when the remaining charge is being measured. This is normal.

When the battery runs out, the battery icon starts blinking. If this happens, connect the AC Power Adapter to re-charge the battery. If you don’t have the AC Power Adapter, "safety power off".

When an ID3V2 or ID3V1 tag is used, the disk icon and the Artist + Album information are displayed. When the display setting is ‘Filename’, or the tag does not include the Artist information, the folder icon and the folder name are displayed. When the song is contained in the root folder, "iAUDIO" is displayed in the folder name.

Lights up GREEN when HDD starts

DIGITAL AUDIO Mode: Blue

FM RADIO Mode: Green

VOICE RECORDER, LINE IN RECORDER Mode: Orange

CHARGE Mode: Bluish Green when fully charged

CHARGE LED

Lights up RED while the battery is being re-charged, and goes off when it is fully charged
