The battery status icon indicates how much battery is left. The number of segments in the icon decreases as the battery discharges. For some batteries or rechargeable batteries, the number of segments in the battery icon may increase or decrease irregularly when the remaining charge is being measured. This is normal.

When the battery runs out, the battery icon starts to blink. If this happens, the player will automatically power off after about 30 minutes.
