When the battery indicator icon flickers, this unit may not operate at its full potential. Turn OFF the unit and replace the battery with a fully charged battery or use the AC adapter as your power source.
If you do not plan to use the unit for a prolonged period of time, you should remove the battery from the unit as a precaution against the possibility of over discharging the battery.
Always dispose of spent batteries properly. Never throw batteries in a fire, as they could explode.
Always turn the unit OFF with the Sliding Switch BEFORE replacing the battery. You could damage the hard drive if you remove the battery during video or audio playback.
