4.) Use a small Philips screwdriver to loosen the small screw securing the lithium battery holder at the bottom of the battery compartment. To avoid losing the screw just loosen it enough to release the battery holder but do not completely remove the screw.

BE CAREFUL NOT TO LOSE THE SMALL SCREW!!

5.) Remove the battery holder from the cabinet. Then remove the original battery from the holder noting polarity and insert the new battery into the holder with the same polarity.

6.) Slide the holder with the new battery back into the opening in the cabinet.

7.) Tighten the small screw to secure the lithium battery holder and replace the outer battery door. Turn the radio right side up and confirm that the “LOW BATT” indicator is ‘Off’.

8.) Save these instructions. You’ll have to do this again 5 years from now!
