STD = Standard equipment for these specified models.

1 HPC. High pressure control is auto reset. Always used with compressor control module (CCM) which is included. See note 3.

2 LPC. Low pressure control is auto reset. Always used with compressor control module (CCM) which is included. See note 3.

3 CCM. Compressor control module has adjustable 30-second to 5-minute delay-on-break timer. On initial power-up, or any time the power is interrupted, the delay-on-make will be 2-minutes plus 10% of the delay-on-break setting. There is no delay-on-make during routine operation of the unit. The module also provides the lockout feature (with 1 retry) for high and/or low-pressure controls, and a 2-minute timed bypass for low-pressure control.

4 LAC. Low ambient control permits cooling operation down to 0°F.

5 ALR. The alarm relay has a set of normally open and normally closed dry contacts to provide the ability to signal a condition of shutdown on either high or low pressure controls.

6 SK. Start kit standard on all -A single phase models only. Is not used or available for -B or -C three phase models.

7 DDC. Incorporates 4 additional sensors: discharge air temperature, indoor blower airflow, compressor current, and dirty filter. These sensing devices function to input analog data such as temperature, as well as digital data such as airflow, compressor status or filter status.

WA3S, WA5S, WL5S, WL3S specifications

Bard WA5S, WL3S, WL5S, and WA3S are advanced heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems designed to deliver efficient and reliable climate control solutions for various indoor environments. These models are particularly well-suited for residential and commercial applications, prioritizing energy efficiency, comfort, and user-friendly features.

One of the notable features of Bard's HVAC systems is their impeccable design, which allows for easy installation in diverse settings, including utility rooms and sidewalls. The WA series, known for its robust wall-mounted units, offers flexibility in placement while maintaining optimal airflow and temperature control. The WL series enhances this further with a high-efficiency heat pump option, providing both heating and cooling capabilities in a single unit, thereby streamlining operations and reducing energy costs.

Energy efficiency is a hallmark of Bard's technology. These models typically come equipped with high Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratios (SEER) and Heating Seasonal Performance Factors (HSPF). This means they consume less electric energy while providing superior heating and cooling performance, contributing to lower utility bills and a reduced carbon footprint. The innovative design also reduces noise levels during operation, creating a more pleasant indoor environment.

Another significant aspect of the Bard WA and WL series is their durable construction. Built to withstand various climatic conditions, these HVAC systems use high-quality materials that ensure longevity and reliability. The units feature corrosion-resistant finishes and sturdy components capable of withstanding harsh indoor and outdoor environments.

Incorporated smart technologies provide added convenience. Many of these models support programmable thermostats and zoning systems, allowing users to customize their comfort levels according to individual preferences. This not only promotes comfort but also enhances energy savings, as heating and cooling can be adjusted based on occupancy and usage patterns.

Furthermore, Bard's commitment to easy maintenance is evident in the design of these units. Access panels are strategically placed to simplify service requirements, while filter maintenance is straightforward, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

Overall, Bard WA5S, WL3S, WL5S, and WA3S systems stand out in the HVAC market for their combination of energy efficiency, flexibility, durability, and user-friendly features, making them a compelling choice for those looking to enhance their indoor climate control solutions.
