The Music Remote lets you control the volume of your iPod music. However, it is important that you find the correct balance between your Music Remote’s volume setting and the speaker system, stereo, TV, computer or other audio device’s vol- ume setting. Try different volume settings on your audio device until you find the optimum balance.

I removed my iPod from the Dock and it still displays “OK to Disconnect”. Return your iPod to the Dock and remove it after a few minutes. If this does not work, you can also reset your iPod by holding down the Menu + Center buttons.
