The Universal Remote Control that came with your Lyra operates most RCA, GE, and Proscan branded components.
Additionally, the remote is capable of being programmed to operate many other brands and models of TVs, satellite receivers, audio/video receivers, or cable boxes.
Button Descriptions for Lyra Mode

In addition to operating your Lyra Recorder, the remote that came with it can operate your other components. However, this page only describes the buttons on the remote you will use with your Lyra Recorder.
For descriptions of remote control buttons that can be used with your other components, go to the next page.
Indicator Used to indicate status of remote control when programming it to operate other components. Also, indicates when batteries are low by flickering when you press a button on the remote.
Skip back arrow When viewing photos, rotates the picture
Skip forward arrow When viewing photos, rotates the picture clockwise.
Arrow buttons (up, down, left, right) Use the arrow buttons to highlight options that appear on the screen (the arrow buttons move the highlight in the corresponding directions — up arrow moves the highlight up; left arrow moves the highlight left, etc.).
Left arrow When watching video, skips back 30 seconds at a time. Right arrow When watching video, skips forward 30 seconds at a time.
Power Turns the Lyra on and off.
BACK Returns you to the previous menu.
FORWARD Searches forward.
LYRA Turns on the Lyra and puts the remote in Lyra mode.
OK When a menu is on the screen, selects the highlighted item.
PAUSE Pauses play or recording.
PLAY Begins play.
RECORD Brings up record menu.
REVERSE Searches backward.
STOP Stops playback or recording.
