Settings

Contrast

To adjust the display contrast:

1.Select Contrast from the settings menu. To navigate, follow the steps described above.

2.Slide to or to adjust the level. Press to apply and return to the settings menu.

Backlight - Timer Adjustment

After being idle for a few seconds, the device can automatically turn off the backlight to save power. To wake the backlight up, just press any button.

1.Select Backlight from the settings menu. To navigate, follow the steps described on page 31.

2.Select Timer from the Backlight menu.

3.Slide to or to adjust the delay before backlight is switched off. Choose among the options: 3, 5, 10, 15 seconds and Always on (backlight will always be turned on).

4.Press to apply.

Power Savings

You can use the power savings function to automatically turn off the player after a predetermined period of inactivity.

1.Select PowerSavings from the settings menu. To navigate, follow the steps on page 31.

2.Slide to or to select amongst the options (Off, 1, 2, 5, 10, 15 minutes) and press to apply.

Note: If you choose “Off”, the player will not power off until the battery is completely exhausted.
