Installing Makita jig saw blade

CAUTION :

Always be sure that the tool is switched off and unplugged before installing or removing the blade.

Use the hex wrench to loosen the bolt.

With the blade teeth facing forward, insert

I Jig saw blade*

the blade into the blade holder as far as

it will go.

Make sure that the back edge of the blade

fits into the roller and tighten the bolt

 

securely with the hex wrench.

 

CAUTION :

Use a lubricant or cutting oil between the blade and roller when cutting iron or composi- tion board, etc. Failure to do so will shorten the service life of your blade and roller.
