To replace the saw blade, grip the outer flange with a wrench (22). then remove the hex bolt with a socket wrench. The blade comes off easily.

Use a screwdriver to remove the brush holder caps. Take out the worn carbon brushes, insert the new ones and secure the brush holder caps.
