General Operating Instructions

Charging Area Set Up

1.Use on dry, flat, fireproof surface only. The Charger gets hot during use. The Charger’s heat can build up to unsafe levels and create a

2.Do not obstruct any vents on the Charger.

3.Especially avoid placing the Charger on carpets and rugs; they are

not only flammable, but they also obstruct vents under the Charger.

4.Place the Charger on a stable, solid, nonflammable surface (such as a stable metal workbench or concrete floor) at least 1 foot away from all flammable objects, such as drapes or walls.

5.Charging room temperature: 50° - 104° F

2.Slide the Battery Pack into the Charger until the button on the Battery Pack clicks into place. The Red LED will flash to show the Battery is charging.

Note: If the Battery does not fit properly, disconnect it and confirm that the Battery Pack is the correct model for this Charger as shown on the Specification chart. Do not charge any other Battery Pack or any Battery Pack that does not securely fit the Charger.

3.Frequently monitor the Charger and battery pack while connected.

4.For a fully discharged battery or a new battery, allow the Battery Pack to Charge for 1 hour. The Red LED will stay on when the

battery is finished charging.

5.Unplug the Charger and disconnect it from the Battery Pack when finished.

6.Allow the Battery Pack to cool completely before using it.

7.Store the Charger and Battery Pack indoors, out of reach of children.
