Battery Wiring
For maximum efficiency, keep battery wires as short as possible. For very short runs, 6 AWG (4.115 mm) wiring may be adequate; for longer runs, 4 AWG (5.189 mm) or 2 AWG (6.544 mm) wiring is recommended.
Note: Acceptable power is directly dependent on wire length, i.e. the shorter the wiring, the better the performance. Total wiring length is the sum of the positive and negative wiring lengths.
