6.Dust Chute (54): For a clearer cut line the Jigsaw can be attached to a vacuum system (not included) that will suck dust away from the cutting line. The Jigsaw comes equipped with a Dust Chute that allows a standard household vacuum system to be attached to the tool. (See Figure E.)

7.Base Plate Cover (50): The Jigsaw is equipped with an adjustable Base Plate Cover which allows for bevel cutting from 0 to 45 degrees left or right. To adjust the Base Plate Cover, pull out and temporarily remove the Dust Chute

(54). Use the accessory Hex Wrench (66) to loosen the Hex Screw (53) located on the underside of the Base Plate Cover. Adjust the Base Plate Cover to the desired angle. Then retighten the Hex Screw and replace the Dust Chute.

8.Edge Guide (70): The Edge Guide allows for extended straight cuts from

0 to 5-1/2” wide. To attach the Edge Guide to the Jigsaw, loosen the Edge Guide Lock Knob. Slide the Edge Guide into the Base Plate (49) assembly. Adjust the Edge Guide to the width of cut desired. Then, retighten the Guide Lock Knob. (See Figure E.)

9.Blade Holder (59): The Blade Holder allows for convenient storage of additional Saw Blades. Slide the Blade Holder backward off the Jigsaw to store and re- trieve Saw Blades. (See Figure E.)
