CLEARING A JAMMED FASTENER

1. WARNING: Disconnect tool from air supply.

2.Remove any remaining fasteners from the nailer.

A.Place finger in recess (A) Fig. 28, and depress lever to release follower mechanism.

B.With follower release button (A) Fig. 28 depressed, slide follower all the way to the front of the magazine.

C.Depress stop (B) Fig. 29, slide fasteners to the rear, and remove from magazine (see Fig. 22).

3.Use a pair of needle nose pliers and/or a flat screwdriver to free bent fastener from back of nosepiece (A) Fig. 30. If fastener cannot be removed as described, it may be necessary to remove the magazine as follows:

A.Loosen knob (A) Fig. 31 and move magazine into slotted bracket (B).

B.Slide magazine back, off of nosepiece. See (B) Fig. 30.

C.After clearing bent fastener, reverse above steps to reassemble.
