Do not load fasteners with trigger or safety depressed. Only use approved Porter-Cable fasteners.

Operator and others in work area MUST wear safety glasses with side shields. Always wear ANSI Z87.1 approved safety glasses, and ANSI S3.19 approved hearing protection when preparing or operating the tool.

Never use a tool that is leaking air, has missing or damaged parts, or requires repair.

2.Hold magazine nail holder (A) as shown in Fig. 19 and depress latch (B) Fig. 19A. Open feeder cover and allow magazine nail holder to swing open (see Fig. 20).

3.Adjust nail support (C) Fig. 20, for desired nail length. The nail support can be lifted and rotated to four different positions to provide support for different length nails (see list on the inside of the magazine nail holder).

4.Remove band from a coil of nails and uncoil approximately 3" of nails. Position coil into magazine nail holder with center of coil around nail support

5.Close magazine nail holder, then close and latch feeder cover (see Fig. 22).

NOTE: Make sure nail heads remain in nail head track (E) Fig. 21.
