Rubber Feet

Installation

The work stand requires the installation of four rubber feet to provide a stable, slip resistant base.

To install the rubber feet to the stand:

1.Disconnect the bandsaw from the power source.

2.Turn the bandsaw stand on its side to access the threaded holes as shown in Figure 3.

3.Attach the rubber feet to the guide holes in the stand with the four Phillips head screws supplied with the saw.

Portable Conversion

The Model G8692 can be easily converted to a portable handheld power tool.

To convert the bandsaw for handheld use:

1.Disconnect the bandsaw from the power source.

2.Remove the bandsaw from the work stand by removing the mounting brace cap screws shown in Figure 4.

3.Install the supplied handle to the bandsaw, using the cap screws removed in step 2.

4.Make sure all the fasteners are tight to elimi- nate movement and vibration.
