2		Press [4, / REW ] or [¢,					/ FF] to adjust the
		level.

Note:

•The level of the pitch is between -3 to +3.

•The changes you make are stored and automatically recalled the next time you select “MANUAL EQ”.

Enhancing the bass sound

You can enhance low-frequency sound so that heavy bass sound can be heard clearly, even if the acoustics of your room are not optimal.

To activate

Press [H.BASS].

To cancel

Press [H.BASS] again.

Note:

The actual effect depends on the disc.

External unit

Connecting to a portable audio equipment

This feature enables you to enjoy music from a portable audio equipment.

Note:

All peripheral components and cables are sold separately.

Playing from a portable audio equipment

Switch off the equalizer function (if there is any) of the portable audio equipment before you plug into the MUSIC PORT jack. Otherwise, sound from the speaker may be distorted.

1	Plug the audio cord into the MUSIC PORT jack and
	press [MUSIC PORT].
2	Play the portable audio equipment. (See the portable
	audio equipment’s instruction manual.)

2	Play the portable audio equipment.
3	Press [¶, REC] on the main unit to start recording.
