MAINTENANCE

Lubrication

The Bush Hog 160 Series is a rugged, dependable Blade that should perform satisfactorily with the following preventive maintenance:

Lubricate the Moldboard Pivot Pin (Figure Mnt- 0002) and the Moldboard Tilt Pin (Figure Mnt-

0001) after every 10 hours of operation. Decals are placed in locations about the implement indicating locations of Grease Fittings.

Replace excessively worn Grader Blade when ditching. A badly worn cutting edge increases the strain on the Blade and the tractor and reduces efficiency.

If the Gauge Wheel is used, a Grease Fitting is provided at the Caster Pivot location, and on wheel hub.
