UNPACKING AND CLEANING

Your drill press is shipped complete in one container. Carefully unpack the drill press and all loose items from the container. Figure 2 illustrates the drill press and all loose items supplied with the machine. After assembly remove the protective coating from the table surface. This coating may be removed with a soft cloth moistened with kerosene (do not use acetone, gasoline or lacquer thinner for this purpose). After cleaning, it is good practice to cover the table surface with a good quality paste wax. Buff out the wax thoroughly to prevent it from rubbing into your workpiece.
