To play all the groups in succession

Press [1] (PLAY).

Random play

To play tracks on the current disc randomly

e.g. [DVD-A](three groups)

Choose a group or groups.

Press [2, 1] to select a group and press [ENTER].

You can select more than one group.

2 Press [1] (PLAY).

Play now begins in random order.

To clear a group [DVD-A]

Press [2, 1] to select the group you want to clear, then press [ENTER].

All disc random play [CD] [VCD]

To play tracks on all discs randomly

Press the numbered buttons to select a group.

[CD] [VCD]

Press [DISC] and [1]–[5] to select the disc.

2 Press the numbered buttons to select a track.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 to program other tracks. [CD] [VCD]

Step 1 is unnecessary when programming tracks on the same disc. ≥[DVD-A]To select a track using the cursor buttons

Press [ENTER] and [3, 4] to select a group or track, then press [ENTER] again to register the number.

All the tracks in the selected group are selected when you select “ALL”.

3 Press [1] (PLAY).

Play now begins in the programmed sequence.

When play is stopped and the program contents are shown on the display, you can also do the following.

To add tracks Repeat steps 1 and 2.

To check program contents Press [:] or [9].

To clear tracks

Press [CANCEL] to clear the last track in the program, or press [:] or [9] to select a track and press [CANCEL].

To clear the whole program

Press [] so “CLEAR” is displayed. (If “CLEAR” is not displayed, start and stop play, then press [] again.)

To add or change groups or tracks

Press [3, 4] to select an available item, then repeat steps 1 and 2.

To move to the page before or after the one shown Press [6] or [5].

To clear a track

1.Select the item you want to clear.

2.Select “Clear” with [3, 4, 2, 1] and press [ENTER].

To clear the whole program

Select “Clear all” with [3, 4, 2, 1] and press [ENTER].

Note

Groups, discs or tracks the unit cannot find can be programmed but are canceled during play. This is also the case if you program DVD-Audio, DVD-Video and MP3 discs.

Disc operations

Press [1] (PLAY).

Play now begins in random order.

DVD and MP3 discs are skipped during all disc random play.

Normal play

The play mode is canceled (normal play mode is restored) when: –The unit is turned off.

–The disc is changed or removed.

–A source other than DVD/CD is selected. [CD] [VCD]

The program is retained in memory.
