Tool Set Up

To prevent serious injury

from accidental operation:

Turn the Power Switch of the tool to its “OFF” position and disconnect the tool from its battery pack before performing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures.

Press a sand paper sheet onto the Hook and Loop surface of the Mount- ing Pad (10).

Charge the Battery

The Charger (SKU 67031) and Rechargeable Battery Pack (SKU 67029) are sold separately. Please refer to the 67031 Charger manual for important safety warnings and proper instructions on charging tool.

WARNING! Do NOT use a different Charger or Battery Pack to power this tool.

General Operating Instructions

1.Attach the fully charged Battery Pack (sold separately) to the base of the Sander.

2.To power the Sander for short bursts, press in and hold the Power Switch (13), then release it to stop.

3.To lock the Power Switch on for con- tinuous use:

a.Hold down the Power Switch (13), then depress the Lock Button.

b. Release the Power Switch, then release the Lock Button.

4.Turn off by depressing then releasing the Power Switch.

5.Sand the workpiece evenly with gentle, broad, sweeping strokes in a crisscross pattern.

6.To prevent accidents, turn off the tool and disconnect its power supply after use. Clean, then store the tool in- doors out of children’s reach.
