Send all items for repair or replacement directly to Pelican Products Customer Service Department (postage paid). Please call for a return authorization number. Per our guarantee, Pelican Products will replace or repair any broken or defective products. Upon receipt of goods, Pelican Products will notify you of any handling and return postage charges. If your local retailer does not stock the above accessory parts, you may order them directly from Pelican Products. Any liability, either expressed or implied, is limited to replacement of the product. This guarantee is void if the Pelican product has been abused beyond normal and sensible use. This guarantee does not cover shark bite, bear attack or damage caused by children under five.

HeadsUP LiteTM 2620 Instruction Manual

The Pelican HeadsUp LiteTM is designed to provide hours of light for both close-up and distance operation.

NOTE: The LEDs will provide upwards of 80 hours of light. However, the illumination will noticeably reduce after a period of a few hours.

BATTERY INSTALLATION		Cloth
1.	Rotate and pull off the battery door at the side of the light.

2.	Slide out the battery canister.	2627

3.Install the three AAA cell batteries as per the decals in the canister.

4.Align the marks on the battery door and the body and twist to lock the door.

OPERATION

1. Press the button once for the LEDs to illuminate.

2. Press the button again for the Xenon lamp to illuminate.

3. Press the button again to turn off the light.

HEADBAND ADJUSTMENT

The headband can be adjusted to suit by		Batteries
sliding the adjusters to tighten or loosen the strap.

LAMP REPLACEMENT		Canister
1.	Unscrew the lens cover.
2.	Pull out the reflector and spring assembly.
3.	Pull out the lamp.	Battery
4.	Carefully slide the lamp pins into the holes and gently push the lamp home.	Door

5.Replace the reflector and lens cover.

6.Turn on the lamp and focus the light by rotating the lens cover until the beam is uniform and round.

LED REPLACEMENT

The LEDs provide upwards of 10,000 hours of life and are not replaceable.

O-RING MAINTENANCE

Check closely for cuts, scratches, or otherwise damaged O-ring or mating lens lip surface. Remove any

dirt or foreign matter from O-ring sealing surfaces. Keep threads, O-ring groove and inside lip of lens lubricated with silicone grease. See Warranty information for replacement of O-ring.
