DMX Operation

This operating mode allows control of the fixture with an external DMX controller. You must set the starting address for this mode. If this is your first time using DMX, then it is recommended that you refer to the “DMX Primer” section in the “Appendix” of this manual.

1.Press <MENU> until 512 appears on the LED screen.

2.Press <ENTER>.

3.Using <UP> and <DOWN>, select the desired DMX address (d001~d512).

4.Press <ENTER>.

All fixtures must be individually set to DMX using the instructions above.

Master/Slave Mode (Sound-Active, Auto Mode)

This mode allows a single unit to run to the beat of the music, or the unit will change automatically. DMX cables must be used to daisy chain between the fixtures from the output of the master unit.

Master:

1.Set the master unit to run in either Automatic mode or Sound-Active mode. Please see the appropriate sections on this user manual for instructions on this process.

Slave:

1.Press <MENU> until 512 appears on the LED screen.

2.Press <ENTER>.

3.Using <UP> and <DOWN>, set the starting address to d001.

4.Press <ENTER>.

All fixtures must be individually set to either master or slave mode using the instructions above.

Only one fixture may be set to master. Having two or more fixtures in the same daisy chain will prevent the fixtures from working properly.

Do not connect a DMX controller for this setup.
