Precautions

•Use only as described in this manual. Use only supplied attachments.

•Do not leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use

•Do not store or use the vacuum cleaner close to high temperature places.

•Keep the vacuum cleaner free of insecticides. Do not wipe with benzene, thinner, petrol or other oils which might cause discoloration or cracking. To clean the body, dampen a cloth with mild detergent and wipe clean.

•Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.

•Avoid using in a vertical position.

•Do not allow to be used as a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

•These appliances (SC-X1801 and Handy Cleaner SC-H24) are not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

•Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.

•Hold plug when they rewinding onto cord reel. Do not allow plug to whip when rewinding.

•Do not pull or carry by cord, pedal cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

•Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.

•Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.

•Unplug before connecting any hose attachment accessory.

•Turn off all controls before unplugging.

•Make sure the power supply :

230-240V, 50Hz for SC-X1801, 220-240V, 50-60Hz for SC-H24

•Use extra care when cleaning stairs.
