1.Unbolt the sander from the pallet.
2.Position the forklift forks directly above the sander. Place two lifting straps with hooks on the ends over the forklift forks and slide the hooks into the points shown in Figure 9.

Mounting to Floor
Although not required, we recommend that you mount your new machine to the floor. Because this is an optional step and floor materials may vary, floor mounting hardware is not included.
Bolting to Wood Floors
The most secure method of mounting this drum sander to a wood floor is using 3⁄8" hex bolts with flat washers, and securing the bolts from under the floor with flat washers, lock washers and hex nuts. Use lag bolts with washers only if you do not have access to the underside of the floor.
Bolting to Concrete Floors
Lag shield anchors with 3⁄8" lag bolts or anchor studs (Figure 10) are two popular methods for anchoring an object to a concrete floor. We sug- gest you research the many options and methods for mounting your machine and choose the best that fits your specific application.

NOTICE
Concrete anchor studs are stronger and more permanent alternatives to lag shield anchors; however, they will stick out of the floor, causing a tripping hazard if you decide to move your machine at a later point.
