ADDITIONAL SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES

.Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the cutting tools may contact hidden wiring. Contact with a “live” wire will make exposed metal parts of the tool “live” and shock the operator.

.Be aware that this tool is always in an operating condition, because it does not have to be plugged into an electrical outlet. Always set the trigger switch to the locked OFF position when installing or removing the battery pack or saw blade.

.Keep blades sharp.

.Keep hands away from cutting area. When sawing never reach under- neath or behind the material being cut for any reason.

.When you have finished a cut be careful not to come into contact with the blade. Turn off the motor immediately.

.Never hold work in your hand, lap, or against other parts of your body when sawing.

.Some wood contains preservatives which can be toxic. Take extra care to prevent inhalation and skin contact when working with these materials. Request, and follow, all safety information available from your material suppli- er.
